• That GCGRA-licensed online product is restricted by geolocation to players physically inside the UAE, prohibits VPN use and is limited to those aged 21 and over.
• Every site reviewed on Online Betting UAE is licensed offshore. None of them is licensed, approved or authorised by the GCGRA, and nothing about the GCGRA framework makes offshore betting lawful here.
• Betting outside the licensed framework remains a criminal offence under Federal Decree-Law No. 31 of 2021 and the Crimes and Penalties Law. Article numbers and penalty figures are reported inconsistently, so we do not state them; the law is federal and identical in all seven emirates, so Dubai is no more permissive than anywhere else.
• Each offshore brand sets its own minimum age in its terms — check the specific site rather than assuming 18. Read your own position with a qualified professional before acting.

• Payments: which route worked and which declined. UAE cards and bank transfers commonly reject gambling merchant category codes, so what we hear about is e-wallets and cryptocurrency payments. Tell us the AED conversion you were charged at both ends — most offshore books do not hold dirhams, and the dirham's peg of roughly 3.67 to the dollar is not the rate you get once a processor takes its spread.
• Withdrawals: actual withdrawal processing times against advertised ones, plus anything you hit in KYC or source-of-funds checks.
• Arabic support: whether the sportsbook interface is genuinely right-to-left or a half-translated shell, and which hours Arabic-speaking customer support was reachable.
